Jesper Frant

Project Manager

Jesper has nearly a decade of experience developing and implementing communication strategy for organizations spanning advocacy, politics, and international development. He currently serves as the digital communications manager for the National Democratic Institute (NDI), a non-partisan nonprofit organization that works to support and strengthen democratic institutions around the world. In addition to managing NDI's online presence, Jesper is a technology coach. He has worked closely with the NDI technology team to develop DemCloud, an open source software toolkit for NDI partners. He has traveled to Colombia, Nicaragua and Nigeria to train NDI staff and partners on the CiviCRM DemTool and provides ongoing support.
Jesper earned his master's degree in public administration from Columbia University. While at Columbia, he led a consulting project for the Council on Foreign Relations, where he helped develop an automated tool for tracking service delivery protests in South Africa using online news. Jesper also consulted with an ecotourism microenterprise on the Colombian Pacific coast. For three months, he worked closely with the rural community to develop a website that has helped promote the area to tourists and raise the profile of the microenterprise within the local tourism industry.
