Ben Lynch is a Project Assistant at NDI working with the Tech Innovation team. He has previously worked at the Baker Institute for Public Policy, researching Middle Eastern politics and the conflicts in Syria and Iraq. Ben also worked for the New Jersey Lutheran Office of Governmental Ministry, advocating for solutions to social justice issues. Most recently, he spent two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Lesotho teaching high school math, as well as working to build teacher capacity and providing HIV/AIDS education. He holds a B.A. in political science and philosophy from Rice University, and also studied abroad at Alexandria University, studying the impact and causes of the Arab Spring in Egypt. He is currently pursuing an M.A. in Democracy and Governance from Georgetown University, and hopes to continue to work on improving governance around the world.
