Andie Arnold is a Project Assistant with the National Democratic Institute's Tech Innovation team. She graduated in 2015 from James Madison University with a Bachelors of Arts in political science and a minor in philosophy.
Before coming to NDI she worked for Fishbowl, a marketing data analytics firm located in Alexandria, Virginia. There she learned the value of expanding technological access and saw first hand the impact big data can have on an industry. During her college career she worked in nonprofit development at James Madison University as a member of their Office of Annual Giving, as well as for the nonprofit Break Away, leading community service trips for JMU students, faculty, and staff.
An aspiring politico, Andie has interned for several local, congressional, and senatorial political campaigns. She has been an active member of her campus and statewide chapters of the Virginia Young Democrats, leading the JMU College Democrats as Vice President and serving as the VAYD LGBTQA+ caucus chair for three years. She hopes to bridge her political background with the technology world and is looking forward to taking her skills to the global stage with NDI.
